NotchMind and Safari.
Safari downloads, calls in a Safari tab and music playing in Safari show up in the notch.
What it does with Safari
- Download progress in the notch while Safari downloads to your Downloads folder.
- FaceTime links, Google Meet and other web calls in Safari, with a mute button.
- Music and video in a tab, with play, pause and skip.
Set it up
- Downloads show on their own; keep Downloads live activity on in Settings → Downloads.
- Calls show on their own while Safari uses the microphone.
- If Safari downloads somewhere else, set File download location to Downloads in Safari’s settings so the notch can follow them.
Good to know
- The notch reads the progress Safari reports for each download, so the percentage follows Safari’s own.
Step by step.
