What changed in NotchMind.

What changed in each NotchMind build: new features, fixes and security updates.

1.0.0 (77)

Screenshots stay on your File Shelf after the preview closes.

Fixed

  • Saved screenshots are added to File Shelf when the Screenshot Hub preview closes. Open the Shelf from Home to find them again.
  • Copy keeps the saved screenshot on the Shelf too, including when you choose a separate screenshots folder. Delete removes its Shelf entry.
  • A screenshot copied as a file also reaches the Shelf when macOS identifies it as a screen capture. The original stays where it is; ordinary clipboard image previews stay temporary.

1.0.0 (76)

Alerts that leave on their own, and Home one click away from any alert.

Added

  • Settings › Notifications › Hide alerts after. Choose 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1, 3 or 5 minutes for alert cards such as Battery low or a copied file, for all of them or for each kind: Battery, Clipboard, Shelf, Timers and reminders, Calendar, and Weather and usage. Automatic keeps each card’s own time.

Fixed

  • An open alert card has a Home button, and a sideways trackpad swipe opens Home too. Before, you had to dismiss the alert to reach Home.
  • An open alert no longer disappears under the pointer when another card updates, and one that runs out of time while open leaves when the notch closes.
  • An alert removed while the notch was closing could stay in the notch for good.

1.0.0 (75)

Bigger share buttons, and a Basket you can move from anywhere.

Fixed

  • The AirDrop, Mail, Messages, iCloud Drive and More buttons are larger in the File Shelf and the Basket, the same height as the Shelf’s trash button, so they are easier to see and click.
  • Drag any empty spot of the Basket to move it, including its edges, corners and the space around the buttons. Before, only the title and the file area moved it.
  • The Basket’s clear, minimize and close buttons and Drag all are larger too.

1.0.0 (74)

A consistent Home, your Shelf files one click away, and a Basket you can resize.

Added

  • File Shelf joins Home. When files are waiting, click or hover the Shelf indicator to open them first, then turn to your other widgets. Reorder or hide Shelf in Customize Home.
  • Resize the Basket using its bottom-right handle. Drag any empty area to move it, and use a mouse wheel to scroll through its files. Its size stays when you reopen or restore it from the Dock.

Fixed

  • Home keeps the same size when you change pages, including Camera, on displays with or without a notch.
  • Clicking the closed Shelf count now opens your files. The File Shelf menu still works when Home or its Shelf page is turned off.
  • A regular mouse wheel scrolls horizontal Shelf files without unexpectedly changing Home pages. Roll the wheel outside the file list to turn pages.
  • The Basket’s × remove buttons display as full circles instead of being cut off above the first row.
  • Screenshot previews are smaller and show the entire image, with copy, edit and delete actions still within reach.
