Show Slack, WhatsApp and Chrome notifications in the notch

Turn on Universal Notification Interception to see banners from any app in the MacBook notch, and hide the macOS banners in the corner.

Checked against the app on

NotchMind can show notifications from Telegram, Slack, Chrome, Safari, WhatsApp and any other app in the notch, instead of in the top-right corner.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings → Notifications → System Notifications.
  2. Turn on Universal Notification Interception.
  3. If NotchMind asks for Accessibility, choose Grant Access and turn NotchMind on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. The feature turns on by itself once access is granted.

NotchMind reads banners as they appear in Notification Center, which is why it needs Accessibility.

Hide the corner banners

Turn on Hide Native macOS Banners so each notification shows only in the notch, not twice.

How long they stay

Notification Duration sets how long a notification stays in the notch.

Messages and Mail

Messages and Apple Mail have their own, richer notifications with the sender’s name and photo. See Messages in the notch and Mail in the notch.

Not seeing anything?

See notifications don’t appear in the notch.
