NotchMindAre you looking in the right place?
Lyrics show in two places:
- The floating player at its largest size, Stage. Click the player until it’s the large one.
- The lock screen, when Show lyrics is on in Settings → Lock Screen.
The player in the notch itself doesn’t show lyrics.
The song has none
NotchMind looks lyrics up in public lyrics databases. Many songs, especially new releases, live versions, remixes and instrumentals, aren’t there. There’s nothing to fix; try another song to check it’s working.
Only some songs are line by line
The floating player shows only synced lyrics, which follow the song line by line. Songs with plain lyrics show them on the lock screen as a block of text, but not in the floating player.
You’re offline
Looking lyrics up needs the internet.
The title looks odd
Lyrics are matched by title and artist. Tracks with extras in the name, such as “(Remastered 2011)” or “feat.”, match less often.
