NotchMind shows your next event in the notch shortly before it starts, so you don’t miss a meeting while you’re deep in something else.
Set it up
- Open Settings → Calendar and turn on Calendar live activity.
- When macOS asks, allow NotchMind to access your calendars. You can also grant it in Settings → General → Permissions → Calendar.
NotchMind reads the calendars in Apple’s Calendar app. Google, Microsoft 365 and other accounts work too, once you add them in System Settings → Internet Accounts.
Choose when it appears
- Notice time: At time of event, or 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes before, or 1 hour before.
- Ongoing event hide time: keep it showing Until event ends, or hide it 5, 10 or 15 minutes after start.
- Time display format: Exact time (10:30), Relative time (in 5 min), or Exact and relative time.
Privacy and sound
- Privacy mode hides event titles and shows only the time, handy when you share your screen.
- Sound alert plays a sound when an event notice appears.
Event not showing?
- Check that the event’s calendar is turned on in the Calendar app.
- If calendar access was denied, turn NotchMind on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
