Set a timer from the MacBook notch

Start a countdown from the Timer page on NotchMind's Home, keep it in the notch while you work, and choose the sound that plays when it ends.

Start a timer

  1. Open the notch and swipe to the Timer page on Home.
  2. Drag the ruler, or click a number on it, to choose how many minutes, up to 120.
  3. Choose Start Timer.

The countdown stays in the collapsed notch while you work. Open the notch to Stop it, or to Resume it after a pause.

When it ends

The notch shows that the timer finished and plays a sound. Use the restart button to run it again, or × to dismiss it.

Choose the sound

In Settings → Home Page → Timer:

  • Timer sound turns the alarm on or off.
  • Sound picks the alarm, such as Radar (the default), Chimes, Constellation or Night Owl.

Longer than two hours?

Use a reminder instead: type something like in 3h or tomorrow 9am.
