NotchMind and Webex.
In a Webex meeting, the notch shows the call with a mute button that’s always one move away.
What it does with Webex
- The meeting’s length in the notch while Webex uses your microphone.
- Mute and unmute from the notch.
- See whether your camera is on.
Set it up
- Open Settings → Meetings and make sure Calls in the notch is on. It is on by default.
- Start or join a call in Webex. When it starts using your microphone, the call appears in the notch.
- Open the notch and choose Mute or Unmute, or Show call to bring the call back to the front.
Good to know
- NotchMind never opens your microphone or camera. It asks macOS which app is using them.
- Mute works at the microphone itself, for every app at once. If you hang up muted, the microphone comes back on afterwards.
- Some microphones can’t be muted from software. Then the notch says so; use the mute button in the call instead.
Step by step.
