Find your way around NotchMind Settings

Open NotchMind Settings, search for any option, reset one tab to its defaults and change the Settings window's theme.

Checked against the app on

Open Settings

Use any of these:

  • Right-click the notch and choose Settings.
  • Click the NotchMind icon in the menu bar and choose Settings.
  • From the welcome tour, choose Open Settings.
  • Open NotchMind again from Applications, Launchpad or Spotlight while it’s running.

How Settings is organized

The sidebar groups sections by what they affect: General, Home, Media, Files, Connect, Focus, Battery, Notifications and System. Each section has a switch that turns its feature on or off, then options for how long it stays, how it looks and what it shows.

General holds the app-wide pages: Appearance, Notch, Language, System, Permissions, Support, Software Update and About. The Notch page leads to Display, Animation, Gestures and Activity priorities.

Type in the Search field to find a setting by name or by what it does, for example lyrics, AirDrop or login. If nothing matches, try a different word.

Back, Forward and Reset

  • Back and Forward in the toolbar move through the pages you visited.
  • Reset restores the defaults for the current tab only. NotchMind asks you to confirm first, and it can’t be undone. See reset settings to their defaults.

Appearance and language

In General → Appearance, choose a Theme of System, Light or Dark for the Settings window, or turn on Night Mode for a dark blue scheme. These change the Settings window only; the notch has its own finishes.

General → Language chooses the language for the app’s interface. Right now NotchMind is in English.
