NotchMind has no regular window; it lives in the notch. If macOS’s background item settings don’t allow it, macOS can stop it after a minute or two, as if it crashed. There’s no crash report, because nothing crashed.
Fix it
NotchMind spots this and, a few seconds after it opens, offers Open Login Items or turning off Launch at login. To fix it by hand:
- Open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions.
- Under Allow in the Background, find NotchMind and turn it on.
- Open NotchMind again from Applications.
Also check
- Launch at login in Settings → General → System. If it says Waiting for approval, choose Open Login Items and approve NotchMind there.
- You’re running the copy in Applications, not one on the disk image or in Downloads.
Still quitting?
