Start NotchMind automatically at login

Turn Launch at login on or off, approve NotchMind under Login Items, and fix it when NotchMind doesn't start after a restart.

Checked against the app on

Launch at login is on by default, so NotchMind is in your notch every time you sign in.

Turn it on or off

  1. Open Settings → General → System.
  2. Turn Launch at login on or off.

“Waiting for approval”

macOS sometimes asks you to approve a login item. When Settings shows Waiting for approval — allow NotchMind under Login Items:

  1. Choose Open Login Items.
  2. In System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions, turn NotchMind on.

NotchMind didn’t start after a restart

  • Check that Launch at login is on in NotchMind’s settings.
  • In System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions, make sure NotchMind is listed and allowed, including under Allow in the Background.
  • Make sure the copy you open is the one in your Applications folder. A copy left in Downloads or on the disk image won’t be the one macOS starts.

If NotchMind starts and then closes itself a minute later, see NotchMind quits by itself.
