How to update NotchMind

NotchMind checks for updates by itself and installs them in the background. How to check now, turn automatic updates on or off, and what each update costs.

Checked against the app on

Updates come from inside the app. Every 1.x update is included with your license, at no extra cost.

Check now

Do either of these:

  • Right-click the notch and choose Check for Updates.
  • Open Settings → General → Software Update and choose Check now.

If an update is available, NotchMind shows what’s new and installs it when you agree. It restarts on its own afterwards.

Automatic updates

In Settings → General → Software Update:

  • Automatically check for updates looks for new versions on its own.
  • Automatically download updates downloads them in the background and tells you when they’re ready.

Updates are signed, and NotchMind checks that signature before installing. Most updates download only what changed, so they’re small.
