See AirPods battery in the notch when they connect

When AirPods, Beats or another Bluetooth accessory connects, NotchMind shows it in the notch with its battery level.

Checked against the app on

Put your AirPods in your ears, or switch on a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse, and the notch shows what connected and how much battery it has.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings → Bluetooth and turn on Bluetooth temporary activity.
  2. Allow Bluetooth access when macOS asks, or in Settings → General → Permissions. NotchMind uses it to read battery levels from supported accessories.

Choose the look

  • Bluetooth style: Compact (focused on the device, the default) or Detailed (full device details).
  • Battery indicator: Percent or Circle.
  • Battery-colored stroke tints the outline with the battery level’s color.
  • Bluetooth duration sets how long the alert stays. It starts at 5 seconds.

No battery shown?

Not every accessory reports its battery over Bluetooth. AirPods, Beats and most Apple accessories do; many third-party headphones and mice don’t.

Move audio to the AirPods

Once they’re connected, use the output button in the notch’s music player to send sound to them. See switch speakers.
