How to turn images into a PDF on a Mac

Combine one or more images into a PDF on your Mac with Finder's Create PDF, Preview or Print to PDF, offline and without any extra app.

Finder: Create PDF (several images at once)

  1. Select the images in Finder, in the order you want.
  2. Right-click and choose Quick Actions → Create PDF.

A PDF with one page per image appears in the same folder.

Preview: one image

Open the image in Preview and choose File → Export as PDF.

Preview: several, in your order

  1. Select the images and open them together in Preview.
  2. Show the sidebar (View → Thumbnails) and drag the pages into order.
  3. Choose File → Print, then PDF → Save as PDF.

From the notch

NotchMind, which I make, converts an image to PDF on the Converter page in the notch: drop it, choose PDF, convert. See convert files in the notch.
