NotchMind and Slack.

Slack messages appear in the notch, and Slack huddles and calls get a mute button there too.

What it does with Slack

  • Slack notifications in the notch, with the corner banners hidden if you like.
  • Huddles and calls in the notch while Slack uses the microphone, with a mute button.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings → Notifications → System Notifications and turn on Universal Notification Interception.
  2. Grant Accessibility when NotchMind asks. The feature turns on by itself once access is granted.
  3. Make sure Slack is allowed to show banners in System Settings → Notifications.
  4. Turn on Hide Native macOS Banners if you want each notification only in the notch.

Good to know

  • NotchMind shows the banners macOS shows. If Slack’s notifications are off or paused, nothing reaches the notch.
  • NotchMind never opens your microphone or camera. It asks macOS which app is using them.
