Check these
- Is history on? The panel says Clipboard history is off. Turn on Keep clipboard history in Settings → Smart Mode.
- Was it a secret? Passwords, API keys and tokens are never kept. See Secret Guard.
- Did you copy it in an excluded app? Password managers such as 1Password and Bitwarden are excluded by default, along with any app you added. See exclude apps.
- Is the limit low? Keep eligible clipboard items starts at 50. Older items drop off as you copy new ones. Raise it, up to 500, or pin what you want to keep.
- Was it the same as before? Copying the same thing twice keeps one entry and moves it to the top.
Images say “Preview only”
An image copied from inside an app, such as a browser or a design tool, is kept as a preview. It can’t be pasted again from history. Images copied as files can.
“Local history is unavailable”
NotchMind couldn’t open its local database, so history can’t be saved right now. Other features keep working. Restart NotchMind; if it continues, contact support.
