Make the notch animate faster or slower

Set NotchMind's animation speed from Faster to Slower, and see how the notch follows Reduce Motion in macOS accessibility settings.

Change the speed

  1. Open Settings → General → Notch → Animation.
  2. Under Animation speed, choose Faster, Fast, Balanced, Slow or Slower.

Balanced is the default. The setting applies to every animation in the notch: opening, closing, switching between activities and moving between Home pages.

Reduce Motion

If you turn on Reduce Motion in System Settings → Accessibility → Display, NotchMind follows it everywhere. The notch opens and closes with a quick fade instead of a spring, scrolling text stops moving, and animated indicators, such as the music equalizer, hold still.
