NotchMind and Codex.

Run Codex and the notch shows the task, its steps, the lines it changed and how much of your plan’s limits you’ve used.

What it does with Codex

  • The task, its latest steps and the lines changed.
  • How much of your 5-hour and weekly limits you’ve used.
  • A Done alert when it finishes its turn.
  • Tokens used today and over 30 days on the AI Usage page.

Set it up

  1. Make sure Coding agents live activity is on in Settings → Coding Agents.
  2. Run Codex as usual. The notch picks it up from its session logs in ~/.codex.
  3. On the AI Usage page, pick Codex from the menu at the top.

Good to know

  • Nothing to connect: NotchMind only reads the logs on your Mac.
  • Usage is a best-effort estimate from those logs.
